A combined meeting of the National Confederation of Officers' Association (NCOA) in Central Government PSUs and SNEA(I) was held at Bangalore in the presence of Secretary General NCOA Dr. K.Ashok Rao and GS SNEA(I) Com.G.L.Jogi. The meeting decided to incorporate SNEA(I) as a constituent member of NCOA. It also decided the combined NCOA will highlight and protest against the Privatisation and disinvestment policy of the Government. A resolution on the subject will be drafted by the National Leaders for applying pressure on various political parties to consider this as grave issue. Meetings were proposed in major cities/ towns of the Country to specially formulate and plans to protest Privatisation and disinvestment. |

Farewell party to Com.V.C.Jose Ex.District Secretary of TEOA on the eve of his retirement in the GB of Kottayam SSA Branch held on 21-02-2004. Large number of members attended the meeting. District President Com.S.R.Jayakumar DGM presided over the meeting. Circle Secretary Com.K.Sebastin, CWC Member Com.N.A.Abraham, District Secretary Com.N.Radhakrishnan, District Vice President Com.P.P.Varghese, Com.T.M.Santhamma, Com.K.P.Jayadevan, Com.Kuruvilla Joseph, Com.P.J.Varghese, Com.PRG Panicker addressed the Farewell meeting and narrated the good work done by Com.Jose for the deparment and to the Association specially during the recently held Unified Circle conference. In the Organisational meeting Com .K.Sebastin and Com. N.A.Abraham explained the recent developments at the Circle and CHQ level. |

District Conference of Haridwar attended by a large congregation . CGM Uttaranchal Shri. G.S.Srivastava and GS Com G.L. Jogi addressed the gathering. CGM in his address was all praise for the Association and complemented its performance. He also predicted the SNEA will be the only Association of Executives in the BSNL to survive. |

No Disinvestment/Privatization of BSNL. 3. Ensure Financial Viability of BSNL. 4. Continue payment of pension on IDA scale from Consolidated Fund.
